Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide our service and comply with legal obligations. To terminate your account and request deletion of all of your personal and business data, please reach out to us at support@getresonant.com. Once your request is processed, your account will no longer be accessible, and your data will have been deleted from the Resonant databases. Your data may remain in an encrypted backup, intended for disaster recovery, for up to 30 days.

Security

We take appropriate measures to protect personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include physical, technical, and administrative safeguards. We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the data submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. Therefore, while we strive to to protect your data and personally identifiable information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Children

Resonant does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. Resonant is not intended for or directed to persons under the age of 13. Any person who provides their information to Resonant represents to us that they are 13 years of age or older. If you have reason to believe that a child under the age of 13 has provided personally identifiable information to Resonant, please contact us, and we will endeavor to delete that information from our infrastructure.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to improve the user experience and personalize content and advertisements. Cookies are small files that are stored on the user's device and allow us to recognize the user's browser and capture certain information.

Users may choose to disable cookies, however, this may limit the functionality of our service.

Legal Bases

In order to provide Resonant Services, Resonant collects and stores personal data about its users on the legal basis of consent given when you create an account and agree to the Privacy Policy. Resonant also pursues its legitimate interests by collecting minimal data of logged out users to provide Resonant Services.

Where Resonant collects and stores personal data about non-users, it does so under performance of contract obligations with users who use Resonant Services to manage data stored by Resonant. In such cases, users authoring such content containing personal data of third parties are responsible for that content. Resonant will consider related complaints in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation’s rights of the data subject, as well as rights of expression and access to information.

Cross-border Transfers

Resonant is hosted in the United States. By using Resonant Services, you authorize Resonant to transfer, store, and use your information in the United States and any other country where we operate. Where your data is disclosed to our processors, it is subject by contract to at least the same level of data protection as that set out in this statement.

Your Rights

  • If you sign up for a Resonant account, you may at any time request an export of your personal and client data for download.
  • You may correct information associated with your account from Account Settings.
  • You may withdraw consent by canceling your account at any time by contacting support@getresonant.com.
  • You may at any time lodge a complaint regarding the processing of your personal data by Resonant with the Supervisory Authority of your EU member state.
